Surgery went well

I am back home and resting.  All went well (except for trying to find a "good" vein for my IV this morning).  My  stomach was used for the donor stem-cell transfer.  I feel like I've done 50,000 sit-ups!  I'm bruised, swollen and sore.  But all will be better in a few days.  Now, we wait to see if the cells reproduce and grow new tissue.
